The present church building was built in 1932 and has received a number of extensions over the years. The front of the church was built in three phases and resulted in a number of small dark rooms.
Waterloo Road Church received a vision of a church with no walls and after much prayer and financial support from members, the church embarked on a project to renew and refurbish the entrance to the church to open up the area and make the church more visible.
The plans involved a substantial amount of rebuilding, replacement of the roof, knocking down a major internal wall, refurbishment of the old dated toilets and installation of a ramp and new glass doors.
The project was completed in March 2012 and has radically changed the church appearance and our outlook on the area. Pictures of the build are on this site, but to see the end result you should come along and let us know what you think.
